Hillary Clinton ‘fit to serve’, Trump’s TV health reveal

She’s been evaluated by Bardack several times since and her condition has continued to improve, according to the letter.

At the 9/11 event, Clinton was recorded collapsing while entering a Secret Service vehicle, which rushed her to daughter Chelsea Clinton’s apartment before it was disclosed that she had been diagnosed with pneumonia two days earlier.

Speaking of finances, House Speaker Paul Ryan is now joining the droves of others who are calling on Trump to release his tax returns.

Her campaign said she spent Tuesday reading briefing material, making calls and watching Obama’s speech on television.

Trump taped the episode in NY that will air on Thursday, in which he gave host Dr Mehmet Oz a summary of a physical exam conducted last week. But voters will have to wait another day for details: the show does not air until Thursday.

The new letter from Clinton’s doctor stated that a chest scan revealed she had “mild, non-contagious bacterial pneumonia”. She was treated with Levaquin, an antibiotic, and advised to take it for 10 days.

Clinton’s drop in lead over Trump is also reflected on RealClearPolitics, which monitors top national polls. She has also had a normal mammogram and breast ultrasound, according to the letter.

It’s ironic coming from a candidate defined by divisive statements, who once mocked Clinton’s large policy shop, deriding her proposals as “a waste of paper” and insisting the public didn’t care about the sort of specifics she offered. “She’s going to do nothing for the Hispanics”, said Trump, who himself is viewed as racist by a large portion of the electorate.

Testing that shows no evidence of plaque building up in her arteries “is all very reassuring”, he said.

More substantively, among Democrats anxious that Clinton has failed to make a more forceful case for her candidacy since the party’s convention, her illness has reinforced the danger of a Trump-centric strategy – leaving the Clinton side without a memorable affirmative message to hammer home, especially when its chief messenger is on the mend. With less than two months from Election Day, Clinton’s standing with Americans has contributed to a race that is tighter than both parties expected.

“On Thursday, September 15, Hillary Clinton will deliver remarks in Greensboro, North Carolina and discuss her vision for an America that is stronger together”, her campaign said on Tuesday. It’s a popular schoolyard tactic for the GOP nominee, a political game of “I know you are, but what am I?”

Bardack said “She is recovering well with antibiotics and rest”.

Almost seven in 10 voters (66 percent) said candidates should release previous medical records.

Mr Trump has repeatedly suggested that Mrs Clinton “lacks the mental and physical stamina” to be president.

Mook added: “It begs the question: what is he trying to hide?”

The Republican Party’s presidential nominee appeared on The Dr Oz Show for what his campaign described as a chat about his general well-being and his family’s medical history. Trump’s personal physician claimed last December that Trump would “be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency”.
