Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort lashed out at Cruz for not publically endorsing the GOP presidential candidate as well as refusing to say his name during his RNC speech Wednesday night inside Quicken Loans Arena.

Also unimpressed by Trump’s speech – in which he claimed to be the “voice” of struggling Americans – were several celebrities who took to social media to share their disappointment.
His remarks were a reminder of the sort of insults that many Republicans had hoped would disappear after a brutal primary season that was characterised by Trump’s often personal attacks on his opponents. “Donald Trump has admitted he’s transactional, he’s a businessperson, he has had to donate to both parties because that’s what businesspeople do”, Astorino said.

Perhaps most important, though, these younger Trumps bore witness to the fact that Trump successfully ran for the nomination because he could no longer sit on the sidelines and watch what he calls the incompetence of the Barack Obama-Hillary Clinton tandem. Ted Cruz is a Christian conservative who opposes Donald Trump for being too liberal and he is the one who’s stood up and made a big stink at Mr Trump’s coronation party.
“They pick up Hillary they laugh at it, and then they put it back on the table”, she said, emphasizing that for her, the decision to put out the Hillary items is one of equal opportunity. “There can be no prosperity without law and order. I think that looking at his children and how great they all are and how much they all love their father tells you a lot about the man as a parent”, Kiernan said. “Beginning on January 20th, 2017, safety will be restored”. The next president takes office on January 20.
The pleas for unity were frequent in Cleveland, led by House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan, the top elected Republican, who has been slow in warming to Trump.
The historic embarrassment that is the 2016 Republican National Convention is almost over, soon to be forgotten by everyone who witnessed it.
Still others said Trump needed to be more disciplined. All those positions go against prevailing Republican beliefs. But Trump’s campaign has been anything but ordinary.

One has to feel quite a bit for Ivanka Trump. Mr Cruz did congratulate Mr Trump but urged delegates to “vote your conscience”, a slogan that has been associated with the Never Trump movement within the party.
