Hillary Clinton Goes ‘Between Two Ferns’ in Search of Young Voters
In the “Between Two Ferns” video, posted on the site amusing or Die Sept. 22, the Democratic nominee for president was amusing mostly by just sitting there, stone-faced and mock-incredulous, enduring the usual round of clueless questions with which Galiifnakis peppers his guests (which have included Barack Obama).

Comedian Zach Galifianakis asked Hillary Clinton a series of awkward and inappropriate questions in a new video from his Between Two Ferns series. Much like all of the Funny Or Die show episodes, the jokes are dense and the discomfort is palpable. Not even the quip of having Donald’s “Make America great again” advert phased Hillary’s stoic resolve.
“I could send you some pamphlets that might help you understand”, said Clinton.
“Being president would be such an extraordinary honor and responsibility”, she said, “but being the first woman elected president, and what that would mean for our country, and particularly what that would mean for not just little girls, but for little boys, too, that’s pretty special”.
But that didn’t stop the actor from asking Clinton what would happen if she got pregnant while she was President.
Playing a purposely uninformed host, Galifianakis asked the former Secretary of State questions like, “As secretary, how many words per minute could you type?”. “Do we get stuck with Tim Kaine for nine months?” “Like himself, weak?” he asked on his show, which is meant to mock celebrity interviews and is published by the comedy website amusing or Die.
“I’ll stay in the United States … and try to prevent him from destroying the United States”, Clinton said. “Critics have questioned some of your decision making recently, and by you doing this show I hope it finally lays that to rest”, he told her before beginning the interview.
She replied she’d stay in the United States to try to prevent Trump from destroying the country – but that she wouldn’t take up arms against him.

The interview is better still when you learn that the majority of it is improvised.
