Joining Clinton at a rally in the battleground state of Florida, the bilingual Kaine peppered Spanish-language phrases into a speech focused on introducing himself to voters unfamiliar with the low-key US senator from Virginia.

It’s hard to see how the TPP will be passed in the United States with opposition continuing to build on both sides.
In her speech, Clinton said she and Kaine are in the race to send a positive message and not negative one as was done by Trump during Republican National Convention in Cleveland.
Kaine endorsed Clinton in 2014 before she even announced she was running for President, but they have’t always seen eye-to-eye. It also sapped some of her energy coming out of Republican Donald Trump’s chaotic convention last week and the well-received rollout Saturday of her running mate, Virginia Sen.
Clinton and President Barack Obama both quickly praised the departed party chief, hoping to move past the ugliness and onto Monday’s launch of an optimistic celebration featuring high-powered elected officials and celebrities who will try to re-introduce Clinton to a general election audience. However, Hilary Clinton’s and now Kaine’s opposition and influence could stop the vote from occurring.
Tim Kaine will, too. He’s the former head of the Democratic National Committee – a position now held by US Rep.
Warren was on the shortlist to become Clinton’s vice presidential pick, as were New Jersey Sen. The Democratic National Convention, where Clinton and Kaine will be nominated, begins Monday in Philadelphia. He said there is talk among Sanders’ delegates of walking out during Kaine’s acceptance speech or turning their backs as a show of protest. Kaine could also give Clinton a bump in his home state of Virginia, a Democratic-leaning swing state, though running mates don’t usually give presidential candidates much of an edge.
The bilingual Kaine may prove to be a valuable asset in Spanish-language media as the campaign appeals to Hispanic-Americans turned off by Republican Donald Trump’s harsh rhetoric about immigrants. “Now, he is going to change his tune, and I understand he is now going to say he is against TPP”.
“They throw “party unity” around as if we’re supposed to jump for joy when they mention her name”, said Manuel Zapata, a Sanders delegate from California, referring to Clinton.
Clinton and Kaine will campaign together for the first time in an appearance in Miami after making solo appearances in Orlando and Tampa on Friday.
How the emails were stolen hasn’t been confirmed, but the Clinton campaign pointed the finger at Russian hackers.
“I think he’s behaved in a very bullying manner”, says Clinton.
