Hillary Clinton has the edge among people planning to skip election

Maybe he had not been so charitable or was not as wealthy as he claimed. To some observers, it could have, had Clinton sprung on Trump when he glibly said he paid no taxes because he was “smart”. He asks crowds why Clinton was allowed to run, and says that he guesses she is now the puppet of the President and whoever else got to the F.B.I. and kept her out of jail.

Kae Roberts and Jay Eardly each voted for Republican Mitt Romney in 2012.

Responses like these leave the decision to publicly release the taxes exclusively with Trump, who has repeatedly refused. The Greens, nationally and in Texas (where they have periodically been kept on life support by Republicans), are scarcely a party at all, valuing rhetorical purity over political engagement, and now featuring a presidential candidate who is also unable to distinguish between Republicans and Democrats.

Clinton’s ears and neck were also clearly visible during the debate.

“While Clinton is seen as the more capable candidate, she is also viewed as more dishonest”, Winthrop Poll Director Scott Huffmon said.

“If your kid studies hard and does well, yes he or she will be able to make it to college”, said Sanders, whose appeal to young Americans in the Democratic primary was in large part based on his promise, if elected, of free tuition at public colleges and universities. Unfortunately, he blended into the background, without strongly challenging Trump’s serial mendacity or Clinton’s blithe blowoff of the email scandal or her wrong assertions about Trump’s taxes.

While his plan forward is far from set, Trump is not planning to participate in any mock debates, although he is likely to incorporate what one person described as “tweaks” to his strategy. Trump had resisted intensive preparation before the Monday matchup, the Trump aides told The New York Times.

While 90 minutes of Trump will not have convinced swing voters that he is not a cliché salesman – all talks, no substance – Clinton will definitely not have won the hearts of voters sitting on the fence.

This was the going theory, before the debate, of how Trump could win it.

But he, like the gentleman he is, thought better of it: “I said to myself, ‘It’s not nice'”. I mean, I’m really proud of him for doing that. With Clinton representing “more of the same”, he has considered Trump as “a potential agent of change”. ABC News correspondent and Intelligence Squared U.S. moderator John Donvan shares results from a debate viewing party hosted by Intelligence Squared and looks at whether last night’s event was any indicator that a new format is needed for future presidential debates.

CBS’s digital news division, CBSN, said the debate drew 2.98 million streams and 1.4 million unique viewers. But the polls Trump cited are open to anyone with an internet connection.

More than half of non-white people are likely voters in the poll and 48 percent said they don’t plan to vote. “And perhaps they passed the wrong button, they pressed the wrong button-or perhaps, worse than that, it was corruption-but these people that we were going to deport for good reason ended up becoming citizens”.
