Hillary Clinton ‘healthy and fit to serve as president’
US Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton climbs into her van outside her daughter Chelsea’s home in NY.

The Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump discussed his health records on The Dr. Oz Show.
Clinton’s doctor said she is “healthy and fit to serve as President of the United States”.
Both candidates, among the oldest ever to run for the White House, were under intense pressure to share more medical information after Clinton fell ill during a 9/11 ceremony in NY on Sunday and was forced to leave.
In July 2015, Bardack, an internist in Mount Kisco, N.Y., said Clinton was “healthy” and “fit to serve”, noting the candidate suffered from hypothyroidism and seasonal pollen allergies.
And after months in which Trump and his surrogates have had Clinton on a gurney of their imagining, diagnosing myriad ailments that they argue disqualify her from serving, Clinton supporters this week have tried to swing the focus to Trump – particularly his weight and his penchant for fast food.
Clinton was diagnosed with pneumonia two days before she fainted on Sunday but her campaign team had kept it quiet until the video was put online. Simpson has not evaluated or treated Clinton. She will return to the campaign trail on Thursday.
A new Morning Consult poll released Wednesday finds voters have concerns about her physical well-being and believe she has not given the public accurate information about her health. She receives routine dental care, had a normal mammogram and breast ultrasound, according to the letter. It recounted her history with blood clots, for which she still takes medication as a precaution, and her 2012 concussion, from which the doctor said Clinton had fully recovered.
As a pair of oldies, the 2016 candidates have skimped it – Clinton released two pages by her doctor; Trump released a gushing, hastily written four paragraphs by his doctor and, in a promotional clip from his encounter with the controversial Dr Mehmet Oz, he’s shown handing over another two pages. After consultation with a specialist, a decision was made to not switch Clinton to a newer anticoagulation drug. Yet he, too, has been circumspect about releasing details of her medical records.
Trump’s campaign has said he will release additional medical information to the public in the coming days.
Meanwhile, Mr Trump reportedly revealed he has high testosterone levels and is borderline obese during a discussion of his recent medical examination for a TV talk show.
Those in the audience for the taping later told CNN that Mr. Trump takes medication for cholesterol, and he said he wants to lose 15 pounds. That weight would mean Trump, like many Americans but few US presidents, is considered medically obese, according to body mass index standards.
Clinton’s running-mate, U.S. Senator Tim Kaine, 58, also released a physician letter on Wednesday.

Monahan said Kaine was “in overall excellent health and active in [his] professional work, and physical fitness endeavors without limitation”. “I recommend that you add a daily vitamin D supplement of 1000 Units per day to your diet”. Republican nominee Donald Trump and surrogates such as former NY mayor Rudy Giuliani have seized on the conspiracies, declaring last month that Clinton “lacks the mental and physical stamina to take on Isis”.
