Hillary Clinton holds town hall following Democratic debate

During the debate, the Vermont Senator made an impassioned plea to stop the national discussion about Hillary’s illegal use of private email when she was Secretary of State.

Clinton made her first visit to New Hampshire on Friday since the campaign cycle’s first Democratic debate.

A majority of respondents, 56 percent, said Clinton performed best in the October. 13 Democratic candidates’ debate, while 33 percent favored Sanders.

“Somebody somewhere will comment, and say ‘Obama politicized this issue, ‘” the president says before the video cuts to Clinton proclaiming at a San Antonio rally: “I’ve been told, by a few, to quit shouting about this”.

While pundits were quick to declare victory for Clinton, several unscientific online polls, focus groups and an impressive post-debate fundraising haul have been used to argue it was Sanders who resonated most with Americans beyond the Beltway. On the other hand, Sanders responded to the derisive questions about his vote against the Brady Bill, which implemented background checks and a five-day waiting period on gun purchases, with incredibly meek arguments that were actually rooted in technicalities and reason.

Of the likely Democratic voters surveyed who watched it, Clinton was declared the victor of Tuesday night’s debate, 54% to 24% for Sanders.

“I thought he had a terrific night”, Begala said. On the Republican side, billionaire Donald Trump has surprised the political world with his rise to the top of the polls, but no clear favorite has emerged among a crowded field of contenders.

“It’s very hard to win a debate when you don’t have the opportunity to speak the same amount of time on issues as the other two did”, he continued.

“[They should care] because their asses are on the line, seriously”, Begala said.

Begala said he is now betting on Texas Sen.

“The Republican Party has always been establishment, corporate, hierarchical, and now it’s not – now it’s Burning Man without the nudity”, Begala said. Say my name. So you know, in that kind of an environment, you know, I was either going to be Mr. Angry or I was going to be a potted plant. That’s even after Sanders appeared to neutralize the topic when he described it in the debate as a distraction from the important issues, telling Clinton people are “sick and exhausted of hearing about your damn emails”.

“Today, it is my view, that when you have the three largest banks in America, much bigger than they were when they were ‘too big to fail, ‘ we have got to break them up”, the Vermont senator added.
