Hillary Clinton, investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation
Donald Trump sounded off on Twitter Saturday about Hillary Clinton’s three-and-a-half-hour meeting with FBI investigators in their probe of their private email use, saying, “what she did was wrong”.

Clinton’s use of private email servers as the secretary of state in the administration of President Barrack Obama has been used as a means to topple her in the run-up to the 2016 presidential vote.
But Lynch appeared eager to make clear that she, as a political appointee, will not interfere in the legal process regarding the probe, and that the integrity of the Justice Department will be upheld.
According to the New York Times, the interview, which lasted about three and a half hours, took place at the FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Some Republican lawmakers are also urging for an independent investigation after Attorney General Leretta Lynch had a private meeting with Clinton’s husband, former President Bill Clinton at an airport on Thursday.
“The recommendations will be reviewed by career supervisors in the Department of Justice and in the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and by the Federal Bureau of Investigation director”, Lynch said at a conference in Colorado.
Clinton says she has no knowledge of any timeline for the review and will not comment on whether she was given an indication that charges would not be filed.
Trump said on Friday in Colorado that former President Bill Clinton “opened a Pandora’s Box”, as reported by The Associated Press.
She said she set up the email address for reasons of convenience, because it was easier to do everything from her Blackberry than to have several phones or tablets.
The past week has been tumultuous for Clinton and the government’s probe into whether her email system might have compromised classified information. “What she did was wrong!”
But the ongoing investigation represents a major risk for Democrats as Clinton is merely four weeks away from being formally nominated as the party’s presidential candidate. “What Bill did was stupid!” he tweeted. He said the meeting had “opened up a Pandora’s box”.
Experts said that the attorney generally gets involved in a very small number of cases including only high-profile or those that produce disputes among others at the Justice Department.
The matter was referred for investigation last July by the inspectors general for the State Department and intelligence community following the discovery of emails that they said contained classified information.
Clinton turned over some 30,000 emails to State Department officials after she stepped down from the job three years ago.
