Hillary Clinton Invokes Muhammad Ali to Bash Donald Trump
If Clinton does win the nomination and doesn’t offer the vice president position to Sanders or Elizabeth Warren, she will prove herself to be nearly as insane as we know Donald Trump to be. Tens of thousands of Puerto Ricans have left the island to escape a dismal economy, with many resettling in the key electoral battleground of Florida. He said during an evening rally in San Diego that Democratic leaders should take notice that the “energy and grassroots activism” that will be crucial to the party in the fall “is with us, not Hillary Clinton”.

“She has a history of not being trustworthy”, Harvey said of Clinton. Beyond that, Sanders’ campaign manager Jeff Weaver said they are considering whether Sanders might appear at more rallies around the country after the primaries and speak in Chicago at a gathering of Sanders’ activists on June 17-19.
With 29 percent of the island territory’s districts reporting, former secretary of state Clinton was ahead with 62.5 percent of the vote, compared to 37.1 percent for Sanders, according to CNN.
Republicans “slobbered all over” Hillary while she was at the State Department, Clinton said to supporters gathered at an art venue in Santa Monica.
Lia Roldan, a 42-year-old set decorator in the film industry who lives in Long Beach, said she was voting for Sanders because “he has a lot of experience in standing up for causes that benefit the working class”.
The superdelegates could still change their minds about supporting him, Sanders contended.
Clinton also joked that if Trump got into the White House, “he’s going to Trump you!”
Sanders needs to win more than 65 percent of those pledged delegates across the six contests on Tuesday in order to be in a position to overtake Clinton in pledged delegates before the convention.
He vowed, “The Democratic National Convention will be a contested convention”. “We’ve never had a woman president”, she told supporters.
Voters were mainly focused on the island’s economic crisis. He supports Puerto Rico’s current political status as a commonwealth and urged voters to participate in the primary.
Two weeks before the primary, Sanders criticized a rescue deal, negotiated by U.S. House leaders and the Obama administration, as having colonialist overtones.
Going forward, Sanders could turn his movement into a fundraising powerhouse for like-minded Democrats.
Clinton is not expected to win all 60 delegates that were at stake Sunday, which would have put her over the top in the nomination battle against rival Bernie Sanders.
When including superdelegates, her lead is substantial – 2,323 to Mr Sanders’ 1,547.
“Combining them (pledged delegates earned in state-by-state race and superdelegates) at each phase of this contest is not an accurate picture of how this works”, said Wasserman Schultz in an interview with MSNBC in February.
Apart from leading Sanders in the number of pledged delegates and superdelegates, Clinton also leads the race in the number of votes cast.
