Republicans may have a big problem in Missouri because the state does not like Donald Trump, and the state’s GOP voters are not rallying around him.
Their July 2016 endorsement of Clinton differed slightly from those two previous endorsements, adopting a tenor of concern and urgency not present in previous election cycles and describing opponent Donald Trump as “a danger to the Republic”.
“This is the part of the campaign I really like”, Kaine said at a joint rally in Philadelphia, the unofficial starting point of the tour. “What the Republicans showed last week was that they could have a disaster of a convention and it can all be kind of net-neutral if the speech on Thursday night is something that supporters want to hear”, said Democratic strategist Bill Burton, a former top Obama adviser who was among his earliest presidential campaign aides. Tim Kaine, D-Va., center right, attend a factory tour with K’NEX President and Chief Executive Officer Michael Araten in Hatfie.
Former Reagan administration official Doug Elmets announced he was casting his first vote for a Democrat in November and urged other Republicans who “believe loyalty to our country is more important than loyalty to party” to do the same.
Presidential candidates often try to dampen the bounce their rivals might receive from a convention by timing major announcements during or immediately after the events, as Clinton did with her naming of Sen. The celebratory mood quickly evaporated amid fresh revelations that hackers had breached a program used by her campaign and Republican nominee Donald Trump promised to sharpen his barbs.
If Clinton and Trump are the only candidates on the debate platform, many voters will ignore the debates rather than sit through hours of name-calling and pandering to their respective political bases.
When members of the audience started chanting “Lock her up!” – a phrase that has become ubiquitous at his campaign events – Trump told them he agreed with them. “Absolutely”, Brabender said. “The fact that we have to worry about winning Pennsylvania to win the presidency tells you it’s a hard task”. Clinton is likely to get a similar boost after the Democratic convention, where she was lauded by Obama and other senior Democrats as a tough fighter with a long-held passion for helping the underprivileged. The FBI said it was working to determine the “accuracy, nature and scope” of the cyberattacks.
The DCCC, which raises money for Democrats running for the U.S. House of Representatives, confirmed on Friday that it had been the target of a cyber security incident. In the furor that followed, party chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Shultz resigned just as Democrats launched their convention. “I know the deep importance of manufacturing, the deep importance of cooperation between management and union labor”, Kaine said. Trump’s comments sparked immediate outrage on social media, both for attacking a mourning mother and because many considered them racist and anti-Muslim. Zandi’s analysis of Trump’s plans found they would cost the country 3.5 million jobs and lead to a “lengthy recession”.
Mrs Clinton’s four-day convention began with efforts to shore up liberals who backed Bernie Sanders in the Democratic primary and it ended with an outstretched hand to Republicans and independents unnerved by brash billionaire Mr Trump.
The board said the “times” require someone who sees a hopeful future for the nation, ‘a person who has faith in the strong, prosperous and confident America we hope to bequeath to our children and grandchildren, ‘ adding ‘that’s not Donald Trump’s America’.

Trump is also focusing on OH and Pennsylvania, two states where he might make headway with blue-collar white men. Trump only scores a 48/44 lead among men, and trails 35/56 among women.
