Hillary Clinton Lays Out Tax Plan at Cleveland Rally
During a rally in West Bend, Wisconsin, on Tuesday night Trump tried to appeal to black voters by speaking about the rioting that has occurred in Milwaukee after the police shot and killed a black man named Sylville Smith on August 13. And while Clinton addressed questions and topics about the economy, health, unemployment and foreign issues, Trump had to deal with controversies brought about by his own comments and opinions. When third-party candidates were added, Clinton led Trump 41% to 33%, while Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson had 16% support and Green Party candidate Jill Stein came in with 7%.

But plans abruptly changed Tuesday morning, as Trump aides announced their boss would deliver more focused remarks, timed to the protests in Milwaukee.
Trump has previously called for an unprecedented temporary ban on Muslims entering the US, and said in his OH speech that he would overhaul the nation’s screening process and block those who sympathize with extremist groups or fail to embrace American values. Clinton campaign spokeswoman Jennifer Palmieri responded with a statement early Wednesday accusing Trump of being the bigot instead.
Trump said those who sought to criticise police ‘share in the responsibility for the unrest in Milwaukee and other places in our country’.
Authorities said Mr Smith was stopped for acting suspiciously and then fled, and was shot by police because he was carrying an illegal handgun and refused orders to drop it.
Donald Trump’s strong anti-Muslim and anti-immigrant ideas have led to the divisions in his party.
“A vote for her (Clinton) is a vote for another generation of poverty, high crime and lost opportunities”, Trump said.
He called for more effective policing before lashing out at Clinton. In his speech, Trump said he would impose restrictions on spouses of U.S. officials giving paid speeches.
The embattled Trump has made a successful campaign out of incendiary rhetoric and defying political correctness.
The shooting of Smith was likely justified, Trump argued in an interview with Fox News yesterday morning.
“Who can have a problem with that?” he asked.
When asked if the officer did the right thing, Trump told Fox News: “If he believed the gun was pointed at his head, maybe ready to be fired, what is a person supposed to do?”
The Republican presidential nominee’s pitch to black voters on Tuesday comes days after he used strong racial overtones to warn his mostly white audience in rural Pennsylvania that “certain areas” of the state – such as Philadelphia, where nearly half the residents are black – might participate in voter fraud that benefits Clinton.

Many black voters, even some who don’t support Trump, agree that Democrats have failed their community.
