As millions of Americans prepare to celebrate Labor Day with one last summer vacation, both the Democratic and Republican Presidential candidates are eager to examine their strategy for November’s general election.

Hillary Clinton is making a play for Republican Arizona. But some preference polls released this past week, including in one state where Clinton has previously held an advantage, suggest the race may be tightening.

Clinton has questioned Trump’s temperament and preparation to serve as commander in chief while seeking to connect the reality television star to the extreme “alt-right” movement within the Republican Party.

The North Carolina survey found Trump and Clinton benefiting from voters’ disdain for opponents.

The Democratic nominee almost vanished from the campaign trail in August to attend high-end private fundraisers and to prepare for the first presidential debate on September 26.

But while Clinton remains the heavy favorite, Trump has rebounded in some national and battleground polls taken in late August.

Consequently, her campaign team Hillary for America, along with the DNC and state parties began September with a combined Dollars 152 million in the bank, a media release said. Later in the day, she was joining with labor leaders in the Quad Cities community of Hampton, Illinois, across the Mississippi River from Iowa, where she is locked in a tight contest with Trump.

Clinton and Democrats are attempting to tap into the growing Hispanic population in the state.

But when it comes to polls in some of the key battleground States, Clinton continues to lead over the 70-year-old real estate mogul.
