Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump in LI and NY fundraising
Clinton is hoping to drive Latino voters to the polls on November 8 to shore up her chances against Trump, who has campaigned on a promise to crack down on illegal immigration by building a wall along the Mexican border and deporting millions of undocumented foreigners if elected.

Trump has dodged an array of darts that would have poisoned most other political campaigns, from a rocky relationship with the GOP establishment, to a loud and proud pack of conservatives who are so anti-Trump they’ve popularized the #NeverTrump hashtag on social media, to a near constant stream of articles anticipating Trump’s downfall.
He talked at great length about illegal immigration, the victims of those killed by illegal immigrants, and how if he’s president, “Americans will finally wake up in a country where the laws of the United States are enforced”.
Building a fence on the southern border with Mexico was one of the most controversial promises made by Donald Trump.
“America: we are going to defeat the barbarians of ISIS”. In the end, Trump may be so toxic to so many groups that he’s simply unelectable. “America is one of the highest-taxed nations in the world”, Trump will continue.
“The GOP nominee for president is essentially telling Russians/other bad actors the U.S.is not fully committed to supporting North Atlantic Treaty Organisation alliance”, Sen.
“She could have dealt with it 20 years ago, when she started lying to the public”, Chain said. Her bad instincts and her bad judgment ˆ something pointed out by Bernie Sanders ˆ are what caused numerous disasters unfolding today. His baiting of the crowd resulted in chants of “Lock her up!”
Clinton made an appearance of sorts, courtesy of Wes Nakagiri, a delegate from MI who dressed up in a prison outfit, plastic handcuffs and rubber Hillary mask. “And it’s not because she’s a woman”. And we already do have a pretty intense refugee vetting process in place. “A change in leadership is required to change these outcomes”. They really, really hate her.
He portrayed himself as the champion of the forgotten men and women of America who work hard but were ignored by elites.
He hammered home his “America First” theme–“Americanism, not globalism, will be our credo!”–and declared in a booming voice, “I am your voice!”
“I heard “Lock her up” last night and thought it would be amusing if I went out and bought an orange prison jump suit”, he said.
And both of those numbers are still a drop in the bucket of the more than 4 million Syrian refugees.
Just as the convention has avoided real policy points by replacing experts with entertainers, the few politicians onstage – in addition to Christie, former NY mayor Rudy Giuliani – have served to take down Clinton rather than advocating for Trump.
Trump didn’t just castigate Clinton, however.
Hitting a populist note, Trump vowed to renegotiate “terrible” trade agreements with China.
“It is time to show the whole world that America Is Back – bigger, and better and stronger than ever before”, he said.
Minnesota state delegate Mary Susan, clad in a red cape with blinking lights that formed the name Trump, said the convention could be a “failure” if Trump can’t rally the broad coalition of Republicans in the coming months. Getting unusually specific, he promised tax relief, a national program to build highways, airports roads and to rebuild the military.
“I only want to admit individuals into our country who will support our values and love our people”, he said, adding, “Anyone who endorses violence, hatred or oppression is not welcome in our country and never, never will be!”
“I’ve never seen a candidate with such a lack of integrity”.

Tech billionaire Peter Thiel made history by declaring to gathered Republicans he was proud to be gay. Presidential candidates don’t have to fit your cookie cutter set of ideals.
