Hillary Clinton Leads Donald Trump in the Polls Post Democratic National Convention
“Now, sometimes the people at this podium are new to the national stage”, she said, adding with sardonic timing: “As you know, I’m not one of those people”.

“I know that at a time when so much seems to be pulling us apart, it can be hard to imagine how we’ll ever pull together again”, Clinton said to a rapt Democratic convention audience.
Hillary Clinton notes the historical importance of her nomination to a major political party.
Her speech to a raucous convention crowd repeatedly slammed Republican nominee Donald Trump as unfit and someone who “loses his cool at the slightest provocation”.
The stakes are high: A loss to Mr Trump would not only end Ms Clinton’s political career, it could be a devastating coda to her and her husband’s political legacy and leave the Democratic Party weaker than it has been in a generation.
Barack Obama didn’t say that Hillary Clinton could not be trusted or that she was not qualified for president. “And it may very well be a vote for Hillary is the best way to get the issues”.
Clinton addressed the lingering doubts many Americans have about her, saying her family story should serve as a window into her candidacy and her worldview. “So let’s keep going until every one of the 161 million women and girls across America has the opportunities she deserves to have”.
The Clinton team also used the week to reintroduce the former secretary of state to Americans, emphasizing causes such as her longtime work for children and families. “She spent the evening talking down to the American people she’s looked down on her whole life”, said Stephen Miller, senior policy adviser.
In the end, Clinton’s speech relied on numerous most familiar lines she frequently employed on the campaign train.
Democrats contrasted their optimistic message with the more troubled vision of the state of the nation presented by Trump and others at the GOP convention a week earlier.
Trump refrained from embracing the same sentiment during the Republican convention, but he said Friday that he was starting to agree with it. Instead, we will build an economy where everyone who wants a good job can get one.
An attack ad aired during the 2008 Democratic Primaries stated that Hillary Clinton will “say anything and do nothing”. “Because when any barrier falls in America is clears the way for everyone”, she said. “That’s why when there are no ceilings, the sky’s the limit”, the 68-year-old Clinton said in a speech that capped the four-day nominating convention.

Ms Clinton also used the slogan “love trumps hate” and attacked Wall St for its greed in causing “the worst economic crisis of our lifetime”. “I know this because I served with her”, John Allen, who was commander in Afghanistan, said. Many of those backing the Donald are the legions of Americans who have found themselves sidelined and silenced by a country which just isn’t working for them.
