Hillary Clinton left 9/11 memorial early after feeling ‘overheated’: aide
The incident follows a stream of right-wing questions about coughing fits Clinton was having at several of her events. The hashtag #BasketofDeplorables became a forum for critics who say Clinton’s sweeping generalization insulted many working-class Americans.

Hillary Clinton says she’s “feeling great” after having to leave the 9/11 anniversary ceremony in NY feeling overheated.
On Sunday, after Clinton was seen leaving the 9/11 memorial event at ground zero early and seen stumbling, Clinton’s campaign revealed that she had been diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday by her doctor.
Clinton later expressed “regret” on Saturday for saying that half of Trump’s supporters were deplorable. Amid press confusion and reports of a “medical episode”, she went to her daughter’s Manhattan apartment to rest. Shortly after, she was photographed waving to photographers and passersby as she exited the apartment, with reps stating she’s now “feeling great”. “I think they’re going to be good. It’s a handsome day in NY”.

Asked if the health of the candidates was an issue, Trump said: “I think it’s an issue”.
Clinton’s gaffe, and this weekend’s health scare, come after weeks of tightening polls, and Democrats are increasingly nervous that her grip on the lead in the race is slipping significantly.
Republican candidate Donald Trump has previously made veiled comments questioning his 68-year-old rival’s health, can be expected to return to that topic once 9/11 commemorations are over.
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton waves as she walks from her daughter’s apartment building Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016, in NY. Dr Lisa R Bardack said Ms Clinton is now “recovering nicely” at home.
Clinton also has experienced deep vein thrombosis, a clot usually in the leg, and takes the blood thinner Coumadin to prevent new clots. She had spent about 90 minutes standing with other dignitaries in the sun on a warm and humid day.

The weather was described as in the low 80s and humid during the ceremony. An AFP journalist at the ceremony saw Clinton, dressed in a navy suit, leave the event but noted that she was greeting people as she left and did not appear to be rushing out.
