Hillary Clinton is on a bit of a losing streak.
Clinton (McKinnon) began her televised address by acknowledging her recent difficulties in the Democratic caucuses … sort of. “In fact, I have not won a state in nearly three weeks – because that was the plan”.
Sure, she lost Wyoming on Saturday.
“But enough about the past”, Clinton said.
“But you know what my favorite part about NY is?”
It’s a segment that folds in a few jabs at Clinton’s distaste for losing (she can’t even say the word “lose”), her campaign’s desperate strategies to appeal to New Yorkers, and her supposed lack of authenticity.
“The New York City subway is the best way to get around”, Clinton impersonator Kate McKinnon says – before smashing into the gate when her swipe card doesn’t work. Following the blunder, former Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann tweeted a video of herself demonstrating the correct swiping method. Or trying to, since she also had some trouble with the turnstiles.

“And later tonight I’m going to take in that hot new Broadway show that’s got all of NYC abuzz – ‘Chicago!'”.
