Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has climbed 13 points since mid-October to 35 percent support in a new national CBS News/New York Times poll released Thursday.

Trump, who’s leading nationally in polls for the nomination, has suggested he’d be willing to run as an independent if he feels he’s not being treated “fairly” by Republicans. According to US News, since 23% of the world’s population is believed to be Muslims, would this ban affect Muslims world leaders, tourists and relatives of Americans?
