Hillary Clinton on Donald Trump’s Second Amendment faux pas – “Words matter”
But unlike some of my fellow conservatives who want to excuse everything Trump says as merely unfiltered and not politically correct, Trump is going too far. She told Couric, they’re “part of a troubling pattern of saying things that illustrate just lack of judgment”.

A CNN report claimed the US Secret Service has spoken to the GOP nominee’s campaign about the Second Amendment comments.
“But I want great trade deals for our country that create more jobs and higher wages for American workers”, Trump said.
Clinton, meanwhile, detailed her economic package in a speech in Detroit, calling for the largest investment package since World War II, a “patriotic tax code” that would punish those companies sending jobs overseas, broadband in every home by 2020 and making America a “green energy super power”. He then said there was no way people would be able to stop a President Clinton from stacking the Supreme Court with anti-gun justices, before adding, “Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is – I don’t know”.
Hillary Clinton will release her 2015 taxes this week, according to a source, a move that her campaign hopes will put pressure on Donald Trump to do the same.
Was Trump suggesting gun owners take matters into their own hands if Clinton wins the White House?
During Clinton’s speech in Iowa, one person was intercepted by security agents guarding her when that individual tried to get onto the stage with her. “I promise. I promise”, Trump told his supporters in February.
The Republican presidential nominee’s campaign immediately responded to the accusations, blasting “dishonest media” for misquoting Trump.
Clinton also continued her call for Trump to release his tax returns.
“This is simple – what Trump is saying is unsafe”, commented Robby Mook, Clinton campaign manager, on Tuesday, in the immediate aftermath of the “Second Amendment” rant.
Contrary to Trump’s remarks, Clinton has made her support for the Second Amendment a key piece of her usual campaign speech, though she supports stricter gun control measures.
“If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do folks”, Trump said on the stage. In some ways this is meant as a contrast to Trump’s dark vision of the state of American manufacturing and focus on coal and steel, industries that have been in steep decline for more than a generation.
“In this clip, Trump’s either calling for an armed revolt or the assassination of his opponent”.

The days for winging it as a presidential candidate are long over for Trump.
