Hillary Clinton Ordered an Aide to Communicate on a Non-Secure Channel

Instead of protecting classified information, which nearly certainly would be involved if secure encryption is used, Clinton chose to simply ignore the rules.

It’s unclear whether the talking points themselves contained classified information.

A new batch of Clinton’s emails was finally released by the State Department at 2am Friday morning after the department received flak for missing an imposed deadline by over a week. To the second, he said that in response to the official’s request for a private email account and server, his company “wouldn’t do it … if for the simple reason that you’re exposing classified data to – in the open, and at the end of the day, that’s – that would not be prudent and would also be illegal”. “Generally speaking, I can say that just because a document is sent via a secure method doesn’t mean that it’s classified”. But secure fax doesn’t necessarily imply the information would have been classified.

Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton faces a new scandal over her private email account while serving as secretary of state after an email released as part of a Freedom of Information Act request indicates she instructed a staffer to remove a classification header from sensitive information that she asked to have sent to her private email account. After senior adviser Jake Sullivan emailed her about “issues sending secure fax”, Clinton suggested he turn it “into nonpaper w/no identifying heading and send nonsecure”.

The publication follows the release of over 3,105 emails on New Year’s Eve, and brought the State Department in line with a federal judge’s order to release 82 percent of 55,000 pages of emails by January 29.

The latest release includes 66 documents that were determined to contain classified material.

Clinton has been under fire for months for exclusively using personal email routed through a private server while serving as the nation’s top diplomat.

Clinton noticed Godfrey was using a personal account, which led her to ask who he worked for.

Democratic presidential candidate and former secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Tuesday that President Barack Obama called her when negotiators had reached a deal on Iran’s nuclear program. “I was surprised that he used personal email account if he is at State”, Clinton responded – from her own personal account run out of a private server in her Westchester home.

Clinton: I didn’t get the TPs yet.

Several more emails show that her aides knew about Clinton’s ambitions for the presidency.

The White House remained mum on the issue. “Waay down”, Reines writes.

State Department Spokesman John Kirby, however, said that the department did “forensic” research on the matter and found no evidence that Sullivan or anyone else complied with Clinton’s instructions.
