Hillary Clinton Orlando Shooter’s Father Shows Up at Rally
“Clinton is good for the United States, versus Donald Trump”, Mateen said in broken English. The campaign said: “The rally was a 3,000-person, open-door event for the public”.

“It’s a Democratic party”, said Mateen, “so everyone can join”.
“I wouldn’t expect to have those many hits on those many people if you weren’t actually trying to take aim and make sure you hit your target rather than running around, spraying bullets”, said Wright, who also has no connection to the case.
Mateen said no one should be surprised he attended the Clinton rally.
Mark Foley, a former congressman who represented southern Florida, was seated just behind the candidate, sporting a navy jacket and a slight smile at Wednesday night’s Fort Lauderdale rally. “The mainstream media would run with it and say Donald Trump knew it and was deliberate”.
Clinton’s campaign was apparently unaware of Mateen’s presence at the rally, much less the 25 minutes he spent sharing a frame with the nominee.
With Foley sitting directly behind him, Trump referenced Mateen at Clinton’s Florida rally-and even said that people sitting that close to the candidate “know the campaign”.
One other Mateen statement that could prove troublesome for his chosen American presidential candidate was his comment, in a video he uploaded to Facebook shortly after the Pulse nightclub atrocity, that he was dismayed by his son’s brutal actions because “God will punish those involved in homosexuality”, so it’s “not an issue that humans should deal with”.
Mateen’s son, Omar, proclaimed his allegiance to the Islamic State group during the June 12 massacre at the Pulse nightclub, which ended after three hours when police finally stormed the venue and shot him to death. “A lot of people know me”. He could clearly be seen standing behind Clinton as she addressed the audience.
Clinton Campaign spokesman Nick Merrill said Clinton “disagrees with (Mateen’s) views and disavows his support”. Mateen told the reporter that he wants the U.S.to be a safer place. As for his political beliefs, he told NBC West Palm Beach affiliate WPTV that he supports Clinton. “And this year, they will be voting in record numbers, and it won’t be for Hillary Clinton, it will be for Donald Trump”.
