Hillary Clinton raises $45 million for presidential bid – Azerbaijan State

The campaign expects their final quarterly figure to exceed $10 million, about one-third of that coming in its first four days.

“While it is not clear precisely when Secretary Clinton decided to permanently delete all emails from her server, it appears she made the decision after October 28, 2014, when the Department of State for the first time asked the Secretary to return her public record to the Department”, he said. Clinton also sent or received at least a dozen classified messages on her private account in 2009.

The fundraising figure, announced by the campaign on Twitter, didn’t include a breakdown of the total number of donors to Ms. Clinton, the amount of their average donation or how many donors have already given the legal maximum of $2,700. There is nothing in the exchanges so far to indicate they did.

Axelrod said in June that he would’ve have “asked questions” had he known about Clinton’s questionable email behavior. She eventually turned over 30,000 emails to State that she said were work-related. Carter mildly chided Clinton about how to handle the release of two hostages held in North Korea, while Clinton recounted that Rice, her predecessor, “called to tell me I was on strong ground” regarding Israel.

Such an advice was given to Ms Clinton by Samuel Richard “Sandy” Berger, who served as the United States National Security Adviser for President Bill Clinton from March 14, 1997, until January 20, 2001, as per the email dated October 3, 2009, declassified by the state department on Tuesday. I’m grateful for all you’ve done and excited for what comes next. The amount is almost double the $26 million sum Clinton raised in her first quarter primary bid in 2008, which included $19.1 million for the primary and $6.9 million for the general election.

This e-mail, sent right after Senator Ted Kennedy died in August 2009, provides a glimpse at what it means to deal with the death of a friend when you’re Hillary Clinton. If not, you should probably sit down, because I’m about to blow your mind.

Clinton has wrapped up much of the Democratic donor base in a race that has seen her remain the dominant front-runner, even as Vermont Sen. But it is nearly certain that Clinton’s total exceeds those of the competitors in her own party.

The emails show Mrs Clinton struggling to use a fax machine, mocking Fox News saying that their shows “need at least one sane realistic voice” and grumbling to staff about turning up at the White House for meetings without being told that they had been cancelled.

This impressive number is almost half of the campaign’s goal to raise $100 million by the end of the year.

“Thank you so much for being a part of this campaign”. Crowley wrote to Clinton in November 2009 that she’d earned a front-page New York Times photo upon her arrival in Afghanistan.
