Hillary Clinton just made her latest federal income tax return public, putting the pressure on Donald Trump to do the same.

According to the May disclosure, Hillary Clinton delivered 51 speeches in 2014 and the first three months of 2015, earning more than $11 million. Charitable contributions accounted for 9.8 percent of their adjusted gross income.

Clinton’s running mate and vice-presidential hopeful Tim Kaine and his wife, Anne Holton, also published their tax returns for the last 10 years up to 2015, when they paid 25.6 percent of their income in combined federal, state and local taxes. The top-line numbers: Hillary and Bill Clinton earned a combined $10.6 million previous year, roughly $6 million of which came from speaking fees paid by corporations and other organizations.

She leads Trump 46% to 33% in a head-to-head match-up in the Old Dominion State, which her running mate, Tim Kaine, is the junior US senator.

But Democrats hint that the brash billionaire real estate mogul may be trying to hide that he pays little to no tax, makes less money than he claims or gives a negligible amount to charity.

“Donald Trump is hiding behind fake excuses and backtracking on his previous promises to release his tax returns”. That gave them an effective tax rate of 20.3 percent.

“He refuses to do what every other presidential candidate in decades has done and release his tax returns”, she told the crowd.

Incredulous that the media did not see sarcasm in his repeated statements about President Barack Obama and Clinton being the “founders” of the Islamic State group, Trump earned cheers when he said that journalists “are the lowest form of life”. Adding an effective state and local income tax rate of 9.0%, the couple’s total tax rate was 43.2%. Trump has refused to make his filings public, saying they’re under audit by the Internal Revenue Service and that he’ll release them only once that review is complete. She put out her most recent eight years of tax filings last summer along with her health records.

The Clintons have been criticized for collecting what are perceived as exorbitant fees related to public speaking events.

The bulk of the Clintons’ income came from Bill Clinton’s speeches-he was paid $5.2 million in speaking fees in 2015. The former president was paid another $1.6 million in consulting fees by GEMS Education, an education company based in Dubai, and Laureate Education Inc, which owns a collection of for-profit colleges and universities. On Friday, his office confirmed that Clinton also halted his business dealings with GEMS Education a year ago.
