Her doctor, Lisa Bardack, said in a statement that she has been experiencing a cough related to allergies and that an examination on Friday showed it was pneumonia.

Clinton has been “advised to rest and modify her schedule”, and was put on antibiotics on Friday, her doctor said.
Hillary Clinton left a ceremony to mark 15 years since the 9/11 terror attacks after feeling “overheated”, her campaign has said.
Clinton left the 9/11 memorial ceremony in NY early and later appeared to collapse while trying to get into her auto. She was scheduled to fly to California Monday morning for fundraising and it was unclear whether her schedule would change. Trump supporters have been tweeting unsubstantiated theories regarding Mrs Clinton’s health under the hashtag #HillarysHealth. Democratic Representative Joe Crowley of NY, a Clinton supporter who attended the event, told Reuters that it was “incredibly, stiflingly hot” during the ceremony.
Nick Merrill, a campaign spokesman for Clinton, said in a statement at the time that the former secretary of state felt “overheated”. The campaign was also criticized for not disclosing the pneumonia diagnosis at the time it was made.
Footage captured by Zdenek Gazda surfaced via Twitter and reportedly showed Clinton being assisted into a van by members of her staff.
The temperature in New York City was 84 degrees and slightly humid at 11 a.m. ET.

Clinton’s health history also includes a bone fracture.
Along with taking blood-thinning medication, Clinton takes medication for hypothyroidism, a condition in which her thyroid gland is underactive and doesn’t produce enough important hormones, according to Bardack’s report.
Dr. Harold Bornstein’s report last December remains the only medical information released so far by the Trump campaign.
At 70, Trump would be slightly older than Ronald Reagan on his election day, and Clinton will have just turned 69.
Last week, Clinton suffered a two-minute coughing fit during a campaign event in Cleveland, Ohio which she blamed on seasonal allergies – and her rival.
Clinton has been dogged by accusations of poor health for months now, with Republican candidate Donald Trump and his top surrogates claiming she does not have the “mental and physical stamina” to be president.
Clinton’s letter of health was almost two pages long and had standard lab results, while Trump’s was a few paragraphs with few details.
For example, John McCain, the failed 2008 Republican presidential nominee, allowed reporters to see 1,173 pages of medical records after concerns were raised about a cancer scare.

Clinton’s doctor reported she is fully recovered from the concussion, which led to temporary double vision and discovery of a blood clot in a vein in the space between her brain and skull. Bardack said follow-up exams in 2013 “revealed complete resolution of the effects of the concussion as well as total dissolution of the thrombosis”.
