Hillary Clinton’s ‘Between Two Ferns’ segment is successfully awkward
Even her slow blink works well with the Between Two Ferns’ Charlie Rose aesthetic.

Taking the chair previously occupied by the likes of President Barack Obama, pop star Justin Bieber, and actor Jon Hamm, Galifianakis poses several excruciating questions at the former Secretary of State and First Lady.
In the interview, Galifianakis asked Clinton if she would do as many anti-Trump celebrities have vowed and leave the US if Trump became president but she declared she’d stay put and “try to prevent him from destroying the United States”. It’s a real treat!
Also, there is no way on God’s green Earth that Donald Trump would even attempt to go on Between Two Ferns.
Clinton deadpanned, “I think it absolutely proves their case, don’t you?”
Trump was not spared during the interview. “I think that might be a little extreme”, she added. “I wouldn’t take up arms”.
“Critics have often questioned your decision-making and by you doing this show I hope it finally lays that to rest”, Galifianakis says to start off the interview.
“Or maybe like a white power tie”, Galifianakis says.
“Not a good idea around the Secret Service”, Clinton said.
“I assume he will wear that red power tie”, Clinton says.
At one point, Galifianakis asks Clinton if she’ll move to Canada – or one of the “Arctics” – if Trump wins the election.
The over 5-minute interview closes with a joke about Clinton’s email controversy. What is the best way to reach you?
