Hillary Clinton’s doctor releases statement after health scare at 9/11 memorial

Clinton’s health has seemingly slowed down her presidential campaign, following a 2012 incident in which she fell, which was blamed on a stomach virus.

A law enforcement source told Fox News that she “clearly (was) having some type of medical episode”.

“Secretary Clinton has been experiencing a cough related allergies”.

“I’m feeling great, it’s a handsome day in New York”, Clinton said.

“During the ceremony, she felt overheated so departed to go to her daughter’s apartment, and is feeling much better”, Merill said.

Cillizza said the Clinton campaign made it worse by not allowing any reporters to accompany her as she left the ceremony and waiting an hour and a half to make its first statement on the episode.

The news of her overheating on the hot, muggy NY morning comes less than 60 days before the November 8 presidential election and at a time of intense campaigning against Republican rival Donald Trump.

The doctor also addressed Sunday’s episode, saying she had examined the 68-year-old former Secretary of State at the Clinton home in suburban NY. Her departure, caught on video, showed her falling and being assisted into a vehicle.

It was a humid day in NY, with temperatures around 28°C.

Clinton’s campaign says the former secretary of state left the morning ceremony after a 90-minute visit.

Clinton arrived at her daughter’s apartment some time later and departed shortly after.

A campaign aide said Clinton had been examined at her home in Chappaqua, New York, after leaving Ground Zero.

She is scheduled to begin a trip to California and Nevada on Monday.

The doctor, Harold Bornstein, later admitted that he “rushed” off the letter in five minutes, trying to make Trump “happy”.

Her campaign later said she was “overheated”.

Clinton has no known drug allergies, does not smoke, use tobacco products or illicit drugs and drinks occasionally, according to Bardack, who also details her exercise regime: yoga, swimming, walking and weight training.

Clinton’s pneumonia diagnosis follows a wave of conservative conspiracy theories that circulated in recent weeks suggesting that Clinton’s coughing was a sign of deeper problems.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has repeatedly raised questions about his rival’s health and whether she has the energy to serve as president.

Last week, when ABC News asked Clinton if the American public deserved to hear more about their medical histories, Clinton seemed to dismiss the need. In follow-up evaluations, she was found to have a transverse sinus venous thrombosis – in other words, a blood clot in the brain. She later received the all-clear. He said he was sweating through his shirt. “I look forward to seeing her back out on the campaign trail and continuing on the path to victory”.

Neither Mrs Clinton, 68, nor Mr Trump, 70, have released detailed medical records.

“Yes, thank you very much”.

Mrs Clinton’s allies says this latest incident shows her resilience as a candidate, with former aide Peter Daou arguing: “After being diagnosed with pneumonia, Hillary Clinton ran a two-hour national security meeting, gave a press conference, and spent an hour and a half in the heat at a September 11 event”.

“‘Powering through’ illness is what women do”, tweeted former MI governor and Clinton surrogate Jennifer Granholm.
