Hillary Clinton is calling off plans to visit the West Coast on Monday and Tuesday following a health episode at the 9/11 memorial.
Trump turned 70 in June, while Clinton will have just turned 69 if she wins the White House. She greets attendees and takes her spot in the audience next to New York Senators Chuck Schumer and Kristan Gillibrand.
NY temperatures on Sunday were in the low 80s, with humidity in the mid-40s.
“Mrs. Clinton is a healthy 67-year old female whose current medical conditions include hypothyroidiam and seasonal pollen allergies”, wrote Dr. Lisa Bardack, Clinton’s doctor since 2001, in a health statement provided by Clinton’s campaign.
Clinton, 68, became “overheated and dehydrated” at the ceremony marking the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks at the Ground zero memorial in lower Manhattan early yesterday, the doctor said, adding that she examined Clinton and “she is now rehydrated and recovering nicely”.
During an appearance last month on the Jimmy Kimmel show, Clinton called the GOP claims about her health a “wacky strategy”. That official spoke on condition of anonymity, because he wasn’t authorized to disclose information publicly.
A Twitter video posted under the account Zdenek Gazda showed a wobbly looking Clinton being helped into a van upon leaving the memorial service.
A spokesman for Clinton, Nick Merrill, said Clinton had attended the service for an hour and 30 minutes.
She was taken to her daughter Chelsea’s home in Manhattan and emerged around two hours later on a warm and muggy morning, wearing sunglasses and telling reporters that she was “feeling great”. She waved and posed for a photo with a young girl before getting into her motorcade.
Clinton was scheduled to leave for California on Monday morning for a two-day swing that included fundraisers and a speech on the economy. An aide said the former secretary of state was heading to her home in Chappaqua, New York.
Clinton had a coughing fit while speaking at a rally in Cleveland, Ohio, forced to take a moment to sip some water and recover.
Also on Saturday, Clinton came under fire from Republicans and on social media for saying Friday night that “half” of Trump’s supporters belonged in a “basket of deplorables”.
But a witness told Fox News that Clinton stumbled off the curb, her “knees buckled” and she lost a shoe as she was helped into a van during her “unexpected early departure”.
Questions about Clinton’s health have swirled in recent weeks as Republican rival Donald TrumpDonald TrumpDoctor: Clinton has pneumonia, was dehydrated and overheated Sunday Washington wonders: What would a Trump Pentagon look like? Her doctor attributed that episode to a stomach virus and dehydration.
In December 2012, Clinton suffered a concussion and shortly afterward developed a blood clot.
Yet Clinton, who is now 68, also had to undergo anticoagulation therapy to dissolve a blood clot and had to wear special glasses to correct double vision for almost two months starting in late 2012.
Hillary Clinton is back at her suburban NY home, after having left the 9/11 memorial ceremony in lower Manhattan early because she was feeling “overheated”. Asked by reporters waiting outside if she’s feeling better, Clinton wearing pants and coat, replied, “Yes”.
Clinton has no known drug allergies, does not smoke, use tobacco products or illicit drugs and drinks occasionally, according to Bardack, who also details her exercise regime: yoga, swimming, walking and weight training.

Neither candidate has released a more complete medical report, though Trump recently told ABC News that he would do so.
