Hillary Clinton’s Private Email Server Investigation Reopened By US State Department
Called out for her choice of using a private email server, Clinton may have to prepare for another probe as the State Department reopens investigation.

Federal Bureau of Investigation Director James Comey announced July 5 that an nearly yearlong probe found Clinton and her staff at the State Department were “extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information”.
The newly opened State Department investigation began in January after investigators determined that 22 emails from Clinton’s server had contained information that was “top secret”, as the AP noted. Though the State Department originally suspended its review in April to avoid conflict with the FBI investigation, the case is back on.
Mr Kirby set no deadline for the investigation’s completion.
Apart from the Democratic frontrunner, the probe is most likely examining aides Cheryl Mills, Jake Sullivan and Huma Abedin.
In response to requests from the State Department, the Clinton camp turned over the other half, roughly 30,000 emails in total, to the State Department in December 2014. House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) commented that, “Declining to prosecute Secretary Clinton for recklessly mishandling and transmitting national security information will set a bad precedent”, adding that “the findings of this investigation also make clear that Secretary Clinton misled the American people when she was confronted with her criminal actions”.
On Wednesday, U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch said she would accept the recommendations of the Federal Bureau of Investigation not to bring criminal charges against Clinton, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee for the November 8 election. “I can not provide specific information about the department’s review, including what information we are evaluating”.
On Thursday, the State Department said transparency was an overarching goal in investigating Clinton’s use of a private server.
Hillary Clinton’s email scandal still isn’t over.
Comey said in his announcement that Clinton and aides acted “extremely carelessly” in their handling of classified materials, but that the investigators did not find enough evidence to recommend criminal charges. “Because I know you didn’t cooperate with the inspector general of the State Department in his investigation”.
So, it appears the State Department will, eventually, have some “consequences” to show Chaffetz.

The department could issue a security violation or infraction that would affect Clinton’s security clearance in the future.
