Hillary Clinton’s three-word attack on Donald Trump sparks Twitter frenzy

There are signs that Obama is preparing a formal endorsement of Clinton, though White House aides said the president would not lean on Sanders to withdraw during their meeting.

President Barack Obama endorsed fellow Democrat Hillary Clinton for president because he wants to see at least four more years of an executive instituting and continuing his policies, Republican nominee Donald Trump charged in a tweet. ” Pelley also threw her challenger, Senator Bernie Sanders, a bone commenting, “But Democratic Don Quixote Bernie Sanders is not letting go of his impossible dream”. Earnest said the video was recorded Tuesday.

“I am pretty good at arithmetic, and I know that the fight in front of us is a very, very steep fight”, Sanders said.

Despite the urgency to unite the party, the White House said on Thursday it was up to Sanders to make the decision as to when and how he ends the campaign.

Although the declarations of Clinton’s presumptive victory were based on her delegate haul, Sanders is not technically eliminated from the race because he could theoretically sway the Democrats unbound “super” delegates to his side.

Mr Merkley said he supports Mr Sanders’ “big ideas to take on big challenges”, including abolishing the system of “corrupt” campaign finance, tackling climate change and making college affordable.

Obama, who is expected to endorse Clinton soon, welcomed Sanders to the White House, chatting and chuckling as they walked into the Oval Office. And she says she’s excited to have a “fighter” in the position. In doing so, he’s excited new voters, likely bringing more participants into the political process. Clinton’s social media team quickly retorted: “Delete your account”.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton claimed the nomination on Tuesday night. In fact, her endorsement is just the confidence boost that Hillary supporters need after so many months of internal feuding between candidates and the question of whether she would become the nominee after all or suffer another last minute loss at the hands of a surprise candidate. Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus was one of the few who came to his defense, chiming in to Clinton “If anyone knows how to use a delete key, it’s you”.

Mr Sanders is also scheduled to meet with Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada later Thursday and hold a rally in Washington.

“Donald Trump’s ideas aren’t just different – they are dangerously incoherent”, Clinton said.
