Hillary Clinton’s VA vision: 6 things to know
Clinton was forced to backtrack last month after she said in an interview with MSNBC that the veterans’ health care scandal was not “as widespread” as suggested, and accused Republicans of politicizing the agency.

Clinton and Sanders will take to the stage for the second Democratic debate Saturday night, along with former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, who took 5 percent in the latest poll.
By laughing off a male questioner’s desire to strangle Carly Fiorina, Hillary Clinton and the Democrats have lost all credibility claiming to be a party that stands up for women.
To the end of improving care, Clinton believes the VA should be able to contract with more private sector services in areas where patients are now forced to wait for care, such as surgeries.
Hillary, giggling, and joked to her supporter: “I wouldn’t mess with you!” Still, few Democratic voters say they would not back Sanders if he won the nomination. Sanders has the edge with Democrats under age 45, but Clinton has a 41-point lead over Sanders among those who are older. Likewise, this video shows Clinton’s team is honing her general election case against the GOP while she faces a primary challenge from self-described “Democratic socialist” Sen. The poll was just released Thursday morning by CBS News and The NY Times.
The poll employed a random digit dial methodology.
The data have been weighted to reflect U.S. Census figures on demographic variables.
As per Gallup, Clinton now has a 63 percent net positive rating among those on the left, up from 49 percent just before the verbal confrontation. The error for subgroups may be higher and is available by request.
