Hillary Clinton’s White House campaign airs its first TV ads

As measured by her level of endorsements Clinton has more support at this stage of the primary campaign than any Democrat in the modern era. “This is President Obama’s decision and I’m not going to second-guess him“.

News late Saturday that Biden is exploring a White House run had US pundits and politicos – including some already declared candidates – handicapping his odds of wresting the Democratic nomination from Clinton, widely viewed as the top contender.

I just saw her picture on the front of New York Magazine. “On the other hand, when majorities of Hispanic, African American, and single voters say they want Mr. Biden to enter it suggests that she still has a problem generating some enthusiasm among the key Obama Coalition”.

All of the major polls-NBC/Wall Street, Fox News, Quinnipiac, CNN/ORC and PPP (D)-show Clinton decisively ahead of Biden and Sen. Biden’s son, Beau, died of brain cancer in May.

Dick Harpootlian, a former chairman of the South Carolina Democratic party and an outspoken booster for a Biden White House run, told ABC that the vice president’s family seems generally supportive of his making another presidential bid.

From stories about a death bed request from his son to ones about a growing draft movement, the national media has recently fueled conjecture Vice President Biden may be preparing to run for president again.

If Vice President Joe Biden decides to mount a 2016 presidential bid, his chances will rest heavily on his ability to raise enormous sums of money, something that he has not exactly excelled at in previous races. Biden is expected to make a final decision as soon as early September, according to those familiar with his plans. He ran unsuccessfully in 1988 and in 2008.

One of Vice President Joe Biden’s most vocal supporters joined the super PAC urging him to run for president Monday, as interest in Biden’s political future spiked amid fresh signs that his aides are looking closely at a 2016 campaign.

And a Real Clear Politics piece last month cited Clinton’s falling poll numbers in places like Colorado, Iowa and Virginia, where a growing number of voters “think Hillary Clinton is not honest or trustworthy”.

According to Biden’s advisers, efforts are being made to launch a new fundraising operation, kick off a new political action committee, and rally potential voters by people close to the vice president. They are the promotions that her campaign never actually existed in the months of 2008 which chose instead of jumping right into making the event what she was tough enough for being commander-in-chief for.
