Hillary Clinton says Trump cannot be trusted with nuclear weapons
One of the best-known women in the world since the 1990s, Clinton is betting that she can defy the negative impressions that most voters have of her and restore some measure of trust with a distrustful electorate.

He calls himself a business guy, which is true, but I know plenty of businessmen and women who have achieved remarkable success without leaving a trail of lawsuits and unpaid workers and people who feel they’ve been cheated. “Don’t let anyone tell you we don’t have what it takes”.
The 36-year-old daughter of Mrs Clinton and former U.S. president Bill Clinton will explain why her other parent is destined to return to the White House.
For months Clinton has been criticized for the fact that her campaign (and its message) do not fit nicely onto a bumper sticker.
In a speech to the Democratic National Convention, Chelsea Clinton described her mother as a warm and caring mom, a playful grandmother and most of all as a tireless fighter for children. “I said that because I know that Donald Trump couldn’t tell the difference”. “We will rise to the challenge, just as we always have”. Despite some ongoing resistance from Bernie backers she vowed to pinch some of his economic policies and also tackle issues like student debt which gained Sanders so much support. However, Clinton omitted that in other portions of his speech he showed a willingness to work with partners including prosecutors, law enforcement and foreign allies.
Donald Trump delivers a speech in Virginia Beach, Virginia July 11, 2016. Despite critique from conservatives that she was merely running on her status as the first female nominee, Clinton reveled in the “glass ceiling” which she had broken through.
“I really loved Chelsea’s”, said Florida delegate Adriana Gonzalez, immediately after the speech ended Thursday night. “We all hope for a better tomorrow”, the narrator (who is, by coincidence, Morgan Freeman) says.
Clinton also vowed to fight income inequality, offered an agenda for providing debt-free college, promised to introduce sensible gun control measures, and pledged to fight climate change – because she “believes in science”.

Last week, halfway through the Republican convention in Cleveland, I wrote that the GOP gathering was so shambolic that it might not give Donald Trump the “bounce” he needed.
