States will also sound off in a roll call vote that will include many votes in favor of Sanders, but end in Clinton officially being named the nominee.

Hillary Clinton’s nomination comes on the second day of the Democratic National Convention, where leaders sought to move past the drama of divisions between Clinton and Sanders supporters.

Sanders sat in the arena soaking in the cheers and waving to the crowd. Some said they there finished with the Democratic Party after what they feel was a rigged process.

Mikulski will be joined by civil rights icon John Lewis, a Democratic congressman from Georgia, and two other speakers not yet announced.

“I’m not shocked but I’m disappointed”, Sanders said of the emails earlier on Sunday on ABC’s “This Week”. We’ll update this story as we talk with more.

Another major moment to watch for: the Mothers of the Movement, a group of seven women who lost their children to gun violence or police brutality. She became the first lady of Arkansas and the first lady of the United States.

The delegation from California, which has been the source of the most vocal protests, jeered, but Sanders fired back without hesitation. An estimated 50,000 people are expected in Philadelphia, including hundreds of protesters and members of the media.

Sanders delegate Bruce Jacobs, of Miami, also said he could vote for Clinton in November after hearing Sanders speak.

Sanders “persuaded no one to vote for Hillary”, said Greg Gregg, a retired 69-year-old nurse from Salem, Oregon, who said he intends to vote for Green Party candidate Jill Stein.

“In my view, our immediate task, what we must do or forever look back and regret, is defeat Donald Trump and elect Hillary Clinton”, Sanders said.

Trump cheered the disruptions from the campaign trail.

After sitting down with Republican delegates over deli sandwiches in Cleveland last week, ABC News’ Jonathan Karl joined four Democratic delegates for food and conversation at Jim’s Steaks in Philadelphia in the Democratic National Convention edition of “Deli-gates”.

Trump has been a frequent target at the Democratic gathering, where several videos featured his comments about women and the disabled, and tried to discredit the real estate mogul’s business record. Tim Kaine, D-Va., as her running mate, saying he is too cozy with Wall Street and on the wrong side of the debate over free trade, having seemed to support at least portions of the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement before recently saying he’d oppose it.

Bill Clinton has the spotlight Tuesday night. “I was screaming ‘Obama, Obama, ‘ because I wanted a Democrat in the White House”.

The Clinton camp questioned whether Russians may have had a hand in the hack attack on the party’s emails and were interested in helping Trump, who has exchanged words of praise with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The stakes for him are particularly high following his much-criticized decision to meet privately with Attorney General Loretta Lynch in the middle of the FBI’s investigation into his wife’s email use at the State Department.

“My message is I am begging superdelegates to change their minds”, Regina Robinson Ungar, a delegate from the state of IN, told Xinhua at the Wells Fargo Center IN Philadelphia where Democrats began their national convention with a struggle to fully unite behind Hillary Clinton.

Challenged by Florida delegate and Clinton supporter Ken Russell that his non-vote could translate into a de facto vote for Trump, McArthur was not swayed. That’s what she did on Obama’s behalf in 2008 to indicate their rivalry was truly over.
