“The first time I saw her, we were, appropriately enough, in a class on political and civil rights”, he said, recalling her “big” blonde hair, “big” glasses and no makeup.
In the speech, the two-term president recounted the beginnings of his relationship with the former Secretary of State, detailed her decades of advocacy work and extolled her drive in public service.

All that’s left is for Clinton to formally accept the party’s nomination on Thursday night, 24 hours after Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are scheduled to speak on the convention floor.
The former president’s tenth address to a Democratic convention was by far his most personal, a 42-minute tour through wedding proposals and Halloween parties, the deaths of parents and movie marathons. Pick one. Come back in a month, and somehow, some way she will have made it better.
