Hillary Clinton Takes Debate Victory Lap in North Carolina
YouTube said Monday night’s presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton set a record for a live-streaming political event, with almost 2 million live concurrent viewers.

Comedian Stephen Colbert joked that Trump “sounded like he was fighting off a cold with cocaine”.
In the days since the debate, Clinton, Vice President Joe Biden and first lady Michelle Obama have all attacked Trump for his unapologetic delight in avoiding taxes. “She’s standing here right now; what did you mean by that?” asked moderator Lester Holt of NBC News. The number of tweets issued during the Trump-Clinton debate bested the 10.3 million tweets sent during the first presidential debate between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney in 2012. “I got a letter from the N.F.L. saying, ‘This is ridiculous.'” The N.F.L. quickly denied the existence of any such letter, but the organization might have cause for complaint: according to CNN, the first bout between Clinton and Trump was the most watched in USA history, pulling in well over 80 million viewers. “There were no sniffles”, he said. (Who doesn’t want to pay less in taxes?) “He actually bragged about gaming the system to not pay taxes”, Clinton said.
‘And when I confronted him with the reason why he won’t release his tax returns, and I got to that point where I said maybe he’s paid zero, he said that makes him smart’.
“Many women watching Trump’s treatment of Clinton feel a sickening sense of familiarity with patronizing behavior directed at them during every work day”, said Dr. Janet Scarborough Civitelli, a vocational psychologist in Austin, Texas. Third, we don’t know all of his business dealings’.
The surprisingly tight race for the White House and the unpredictable clash in styles between well-known but polarizing foes has generated wide interest in the potentially pivotal encounter, which comes six weeks before the November 8 election. Together, they tackled the question: who won the night?
“They were laughing about it because they thought that was Trump at his worst”, Luntz said, adding that undecided voters are especially turned off by personal attacks.
But Trump, whose roots are in reality TV and the male-dominated construction world, has always had an in-your-face style – and not just with women, as others pointed out on Tuesday.
The focus of Clinton’s Des Moines event today was getting out the vote.

Trump tried aggressively to pin America’s problems on Clinton. “It is impossible to see how Trump can get to 270 without Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, and at least one major state that Romney lost (likely Pennsylvania or a combination like Colorado/Iowa/Nevada)”. Generally, most people believe Clinton is better prepared for the position. Whether more voters will be with her after a strong debate isn’t certain. “For the past two weeks Clinton’s polling and probability of winning both fell as voters grappled with whether Clinton was fit to hold office following her health scare”. I don’t blame him for being annoyed that his advisors are telling the media that he needs to prepare more diligently, even if they’re going that route only because they fear he won’t absorb their advice if they tell him that privately.
