President Barack Obama made his 2016 solo campaign debut Tuesday, hitting out at “unfair” criticism of Hillary Clinton and touting his own record.

Barack Obama has come to the defence of Hillary Clinton after she was diagnosed with pneumonia.
A stomach virus and dehydration prompted her to faint, causing what her doctor said was a concussion.
“‘I was opposed to the war in Iraq, ‘” Obama said, quoting Trump.
“I’m just telling the truth”. “It was tough, because Hillary’s tough”. “Donald Trump says stuff every day that used to be considered as disqualifying as president, and yet because he says it over and over and over again, the press just gives up”, Obama said.
The weekend wobble was treated by some political rivals and online antagonists as validation – proof positive that the Democratic presidential nominee was unfit, in the most literal terms, for the presidency. “The other candidate is the first in decades who refuses to release any at all”, he said. He did not mention Clinton’s health or her remarks at a fundraiser on Friday she had to walk back in which she called “half” of Trump’s supporters a “basket of deplorables” given to racism and bigotry. But the more Trump isn’t scrutinized for his unusual disdain for disclosure, the more likely it is that we find ourselves in a world where Donald Trump is president, and we know nothing about him or how he intends to lead the country. The two groups represent weaknesses for the Clinton campaign who has been unable to galvanize their support as Sanders did with the millennials. “This is not me going through the motions here”.
After her Friday pneumonia diagnosis, Clinton was determined to “power through”, she told CNN late Monday.
Donald Trump has ideas, and he has feelings.
He also mocked the notion that Trump has been a champion of the working class. “But you also want to be sure your base comes in. And now suddenly this guy is going to be your champion”.
And after noting that Clinton has “worked with our intelligence teams and our diplomats and our military”, he knocked Trump for his praise of Russian President Vladimir Putin. “He loves this guy!” He accused Trump of being unprepared, unserious and “not a facts guy”.

At the moment, Clinton seems to have the advantage, leading Trump by 6.2 percentage points in the RealClearPolitics polling average of the state.
Some Democrats are concerned about an enthusiasm gap between Clinton and Trump supporters in places like Pennsylvania, and the president implored voters to get to the polls in eight weeks.
“The last few days feed into a sense of uncertainty”, said Chris Kofinis, a Democratic strategist. “You should also vote for Pat Toomey”. For Trump, we have to guess at his agenda-or at least, anything beyond “build the wall” and “make Mexico pay for it”-and at how he would behave as president”.
But even as Clinton takes a couple of days off the stump and her campaign wrestles with legitimate questions about a lack of transparency during the Sunday scare, the rumor mill churns apace.
