Hillary Clinton voices concern about Russian interference in United States election

Hillary Clinton has accused Donald Trump of being “fixated” with dictators as she warned of the threat of Russian interference in the U.S. election.

The day before in swing state Ohio, Trump softened his stance on immigration while Clinton blasted Russian Federation for suspected tampering in the USA electoral process.

While Labor Day has traditionally been the kickoff to the fall campaign, both Clinton and Trump have been locked in an intense back-and-forth throughout the summer. ‘Woah, ‘ she said, grabbing and gulping the water again.

“It’s nearly unthinkable”, Mrs. Clinton said on Monday, referring to what she called recent “credible reports about Russian interference in our elections” and citing a hacking of the Democratic National Committee’s emails in July.

“We’ve never had the nominee of one of our major parties urging the Russians to hack more”, she said.

But she said she viewed the hacking of the Democratic National Committee, which American officials have linked to Russian intelligence agencies, and warnings there could be additional breaches meant to influence the presidential campaign “a threat from an adversarial foreign power”. Pena Nieto remained silent on the issue at the event, but said later on Twitter that he made it clear Mexico would not pay for the wall.

Trump has his largest edge of the campaign as the more honest and trustworthy of the two major candidates (50 percent say he is more honest and trustworthy vs. just 35 percent choosing Clinton) and as the stronger leader, 50 percent to 42 percent. When asked which candidate is more honest and trustworthy, 94% of Trump’s backers say he is, while just 70% of those behind Clinton choose her, with 11% saying Trump is more trustworthy and 17% saying neither of them are.

“She doesn’t have the energy to bring ’em back”.

Clinton said that the attacks on her family’s foundation were not rooted in fact and sidestepped a question on whether her daughter, Chelsea, should step down from the foundation’s leadership if she is elected in November.

“I’m going to continue to focus on what we’re doing to create jobs here at home, what we’re doing to make sure Americans have the best possible opportunities in the future”, she said.

“I take classification seriously”, she said.

Clinton’s 25-minute question-and-answer session was her first extensive availability with reporters since early December. FBI Director James Comey said that while Clinton and her aides had been “extremely careless” in dealing with sensitive materials, there was no evidence they intentionally mishandled classified information. She began September with more than $68 million in her campaign’s bank account to use against Trump, who has not yet released initial fundraising totals for August. No Republican has won the White House without winning Ohio and Trump is trying to overcome some splintering in the state party, which was supportive of Ohio Gov. John Kasich during the presidential primary.
