Some Sanders delegates threatened to storm out of her speech, though Sanders himself was sitting in the audience and smiled when Clinton mentioned him.
“I can say with confidence there has never been a man or a woman – not me, not Bill, nobody – more qualified than Hillary Clinton to serve as president of the United States of America”, Obama said.

Obama took aim at Trump’s campaign slogan and promise to “Make America Great Again”. Americans head to the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
“If we’re serious about keeping our country safe, we can’t afford to have a President who’s in the pocket of the gun lobby”.
“It won’t be easy or quick, but make no mistake, we will prevail”.
Clinton also trained fire on Trump’s dystopian view of America.
“He wants us to fear the future and fear each other, he wants to divide us from the rest of the world, and from each other”, Clinton added in a wide-ranging speech that was alternately progressive and hawkish – and quoted Broadway’s Hamilton.
“But we are not afraid”. We will not ban a religion.
“We must work with all of our allies who share our goal of destroying ISIS and stamping out Islamic terror”.
In an election that Mr. Trump and other GOP leaders frame as the last opportunity to overturn the legacy of the first African-American President of America, the stakes are high for all supporters of Mr. Obama and him personally.
She did not single out the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a pending 12-nation Pacific Rim free trade deal championed by U.S. President Barack Obama. Hinojosa said he even personally sent a text message to Kaine congratulating him on being selected as Hillary Clinton’s running mate. “None of us can do it alone”. “He’s trying to tell us he cares about the middle class. Give me a break”.
She talked about how her mother loved to FaceTime her 2-year-old granddaughter Charlotte and of “blowing kisses and reading ‘Chugga-Chugga Choo-Choo”‘.
