Hillary Clinton’s campaign announced Friday that the former secretary of state will visit ground zero on the fifteenth anniversary of the September 11, 2001, attacks. She won’t speak and will not attend in a campaign capacity but to instead pay her respects, a campaign aide told CNN Friday.

Republican rival Donald Trump is not now scheduled to attend.

Hillary Clinton is also expected to visit Ground Zero on Sunday.

Hillary Clinton at Westchester Country Airport unleashed a torrent of attacks against Donald Trump’s preparedness to be commander-in-chief Thursday morning, hours after an NBC forum exposed her opponent to criticism on multiple fronts.

Clinton’s campaign responded first, agreeing to “dispense with normal campaign activity on 9/11, including ceasing to run campaign advertisements”.

The campaign’s spokeswoman Julie Wood told the Associated Press that the U.S. Democratic presidential nominee will arrive Sunday morning in time for the annual moment of silence at 8: 46 a.m., which was when the first plane crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center. She played a role both in advocating for workers who were sickened at Ground Zero in the weeks following the attacks, and in securing $21 billion in funding for the World Trade Center site’s redevelopment.
