Hillary Clinton Wins Teen Choice Award
The actress was joined on stage at the fan-favorite ceremony by a group of teens related to shooting victims in such places as San Bernardino, Calif.; Newtown, Conn.; and Orlando, Fla. While it’s an honor to win, many pointed out that FOX didn’t mention Grimmie’s name once during the ceremony, even when an entire segment of the award show was dedicated to ending gun violence. “Don’t think for a moment that what you do doesn’t count”. British actress Daisy Ridley was named Movie Breakout Star for her role as Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
“For everyone complaining about the teen choice awards….” issued Dawson after Sunday’s show in a tweet coupled with a meme that reads “Don’t act surprised, I warned you”. Jessica Alba and Ne-Yo led a tribute to victims of gun violence and their families.

Receiving a special honour was Justin Timberlake, who was presented with the first-ever Decade Award by basketball icon Kobe Bryant. (And no, we don’t mean Taylor Swift shocked.) Garner accepted the award with her 12-year-old co-star, Kylie Rogers and made our hearts melt when she said, “Thank you, this is for this little lady”. It feels like just yesterday we were belting out to “Cry Me a River”.
‘Don’t count the days, make the days count’. “You will fall down”, Timberlake said.
