Hillary doctor: Mrs. Clinton is just fine

U.S. voters believe that both candidates should be more transparent about their health, with eight in 10 saying they would like to see Clinton and Trump release a letter from their physician confirming they are fit enough to serve as president.

Clinton last released information about her health in July 2015, when Bardack provided a letter that concluded the candidate “is in excellent physical condition and fit to serve as President of the United States”. “Bardack added, “[Clinton] is recovering well with antibiotics and rest”. Forty-three percent said Trump’s running mate Mike Pence is prepared to serve as president, while 38 percent said the same of Democrat VP nominee Tim Kaine. She abruptly left a 9/11 memorial service on Sunday after overheating related to previously undisclosed pneumonia, and on Saturday was forced to address a statement saying half of Trump supporters fell into a “basket of deplorables”. Clinton’s pneumonia symptoms began around the start of this month, and she saw Bardack on September 2 for a low-grade fever, congestion and fatigue.

Clinton planned to return to the campaign trail on Thursday after several days of rest. Today, Trump filmed an appearance for tomorrow’s “Dr. Oz Show” to discuss the findings of a recent physical exam but did not reveal much more than his height (6 feet 3 inches) and weight (267 pounds).

The disclosure came as her Republican rival Donald Trump – in a media-savvy move – released new health data of his own during the taping of a medical chat show set to air Thursday.

“Mrs. Clinton is a healthy 67-year-old female whose current medical conditions include hypothyroidism and seasonal pollen allergies“, Bardack wrote.

Trump also responded to the leaked emails in which former Secretary of State Colin Powell called him a “national disgrace”. She has also had a normal mammogram and breast ultrasound.

Clinton’s “current medications include Armor Thyroid, Coumadin dosed as directed, Levaquin (for a total ten days), Clarinex, as well as B12 as needed”. Her lab testing, the doctor added, was “normal”. In that scenario, Clinton trails Trump by 1 percentage point.

Over the next few days her congestion worsened and she developed a cough. “I don’t think so, I don’t think so”.

During the follow-up, Dr. Bardack wrote, a CT scan revealed that the presidential hopeful was suffering from pneumonia.

Clinton also used the speech as an opportunity to criticize Trump.

There is no credible evidence to support any of these claims.

In an interview with CNN on Monday, Clinton dismissed the controversy.
