Hindi Diwas: The Express Office Takes The Hindi Alphabet Test

Hindi Diwas is being celebrated in a government office.
September 14 is celebrated as Hindi Diwas across Inida every year, and on Wednesday, Delhi too will witness events that will celebrate the day.
The decision of using Hindi as the official language was ratified by the Constitution of India that came into effect on January 26, 1950. The campaign is aimed at urging the government to recognise all scheduled languages as official languages in the country. In Part – 17 (Article 343 to 351) of the Constitution, the Official Language of the Union and States has been prescribed.
People celebrate this wonderful occasion with great zest and fervour.

President Pranab Mukherjee will present the Rajbhasha awards at Rashtrapati Bhawan on the occasion. Hindi Diwas Samaroh has been organised by the PHD Chamber of Commerce in Delhi and one of its special functions is called Hindi Hain Hum. These awards were instituted by the Rajbhasha Vibhag, Ministry of Home Affairs to recognize the excellent contribution of Ministries, Departments and Nationalized Banks and others in the field of Hindi.
