Last night, just a little under two years since the last time they shared a stage together, Big Boi and André 3000 were back at it again for the One Music Festival in Atlanta.
All of the Dungeon Family roster except Future and Goodie Mob rapper Khujo played during the 90-minute set, as members including Cee-Lo Green, Killer Mike, TI, Cool Breeze, Organized Noise, Kilo Ali, Lil Will, Backbone and Witchdoctor guested on each other’s songs.
Another highlight came when Andre 3000’s ex-girlfriend Erykah Badu joined him for a rendition of Liberation, and Goodie Mob’s Cee Lo Green also thrilled the crowd with a rendition of his Gnarls Barkley hit insane.
The rap collective has consisted of a multitude, including such big names as Andre 3000, Big Boi, CeeLo Green, Killer Mike and Sleepy Brown. Fans were treated to SpottieOttieDopaliscious, So Fresh, So Clean and more. The group headlines the seventh annual ONE Musicfest on Saturday in Atlanta. “I’m thinking we can refresh the world and give them an intro to what we have going today”.
“Those fit the Dungeon Family brand”, he said.
Netflix documentary The Art Of Organized Noize sparked the idea for the family reunion after being a huge success with viewers. “But the egg tastes good as hell when we got it together”.
