Elsewhere, Team GB’s Max Whitlock became the first British man to win a gold medal in the floor gymnastics – and right now, he is competing in the pommel horse final.
The team finished with a time of 6:03.98 at the Lagoa to claim GB’s first ever Olympic medal in the event, although a photo finish was called upon to determine their place on the podium.

“The match was very emotionally and physically draining so I feel a lot of relief and I’m exhausted but obviously very proud to have won another gold medal”, he said after the match. Britain is behind Team USA, who have 26 gold medals.
The gymnastics competition at the 2016 Olympic Games concluded on Tuesday.
That bronze was the men’s only gymnastics medal in Rio.
