‘Hitman’ Beta Dates Announced, Comes To PS4 A Week Before PC

Square Enix have shared details about the upcoming Hitman beta via a blog post on the game’s official website, as well as a new trailer to show off what players can expect.

Hitman Beta is all set to be released on PlayStation 4 starting February 12, 2016 and will be available to all those who have pre-ordered the game on PS4, Square Enix and Io-Interactive announced. For the time being, Xbox One users can not avail the beta.

Play the beginning. The HITMAN Beta is set twenty years in the past at a top-secret ICA recruitment and training facility. Players will also see the Agent meet his long-time handler, Diana Burnwood.

The PS4 version of Hitman is expected to showcase six exclusive contracts, collectively known as “The Sarajevo Six”.

Each target was a private soldier who committed brutal war crimes, and each are in their own locations. “Many years later, fate is finally catching up with them”. It acts as a prequel to the main game which launches on March 11, 2016. However, only the first three of these, namely France, Italy, and Morocco, will be released along with the final game.
