Holly Holm and Ronda Rousey rematch already on the cards
The fight was quick, it only took Holly Holm one round and 59 seconds to knock out Ronda Rousey, but that’s about one round and 50 seconds longer than a typical Rousey fight.

Holm dropped Rousey to the mat with a left kick to her neck and seized the opportunity with multiple punches to Rousey’s face before the referee mercifully stopped the fight.
Oh, and about that Tonight Show appearance: Rousey told Jimmy Fallon that Holm was “the biggest threat, definitely, to me”. Ronda Rousey was confident to win this mixed martial arts fight against Holm.
Esparza was quick to give Holly Holm her praise for incredible performance against Rousey in the main event.
“I’ve been on the losing side before and wanted to avenge my loss”, Holm said.
Talk of a rematch inevitably came up in the aftermath of Holm’s victory with UFC chief Dana White admitting he would “make a lot of sense”. Fans already call it the greatest upset in UFC history.
“I had the help of everyone in my team and I had never spent as much time in the gym as that before any fight in the past”. But it took a master class from Holm to dethrone Rousey.
Although she was pretty spot on with her prediction for the fight, Rousey was way off with the result. “So I expected her to be aggressive and impose her will on me”.
Following the fight, Rousey, who was “completely bummed out and depressed” over her defeat, left the Octagon and was taken to a local hospital for treatment after her lip was split during the fight.
“It changes a lot of things, the “Cyborg” fight, a few other stuff we were working on”. It was Rousey’s 11th knockout win in her 12-fight winning streak since she turned pro in 2010.

“We didn’t want to be there for her counter, she obviously has knockout power”.
