Holly Holm is back in Albuquerque

Holly Holm was an afterthought leading up to her fight with Ronda Rousey.

“I would love to fight sooner than later but that’s because I like to be an active fighter”, Holm said. Such include appearing on the remake film “Roadhouse” and “Mile 22” wherein she will star opposite Mark Wahlberg.

Following her loss and injury, she was placed on a medical suspension under which she is prohibited from fighting for 60 days and is not allowed to have contact for 45.

Meanwhile, former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon “Bones” Jones has expressed his support for Rousey and shared that Rousey was one of those who reached out to him when he was stripped of his title when he got involved in a hit and run incident with a pregnant woman. She initially refused to show her face upon arriving back in the United States after her loss to Holm in Melbourne, Australia, earlier this month, though. I appreciate the concerns about my health, but I’m fine.

Rousey is expected to take some time away from the UFC as she fulfills her Hollywood commitments.

And as far as the depression angle is concerned, well, Rousey doesn’t seem to be suffering from such and looks somehow over her defeat to Holm. But Holm was able to see an opening 59 seconds after the start of the second round.

But PMN said that a rematch will happen between the two fighters but it will have to be sidelined for now as both fighters address other priorities at the moment.
