Holly Holm Next Fight: Cyborg Justino To UFC More Likely If ‘Preacher’s
Not only has Holly Holm stripped Ronda Rousey of her UFC bantamweight title, but she could now be set to steal the match-up everyone wants to see in the women’s division.

2015 was the Year of Ronda Rousey and it featured both her rise to super-stardom and her fall from grace at the hands (or more accurately the feet) of Holly Holm.
Rousey and Holm are penciled in for a rematch, likely at UFC 200.
The former UFC bantamweight champion’s sister Maria Burns Ortiz has revealed an incredible insight into how the fateful November 14 event has changed the biggest celebrity in mixed martial arts. Not touching gloves with Holly Holm and yelling at her during the weigh-ins…there’s gonna be backlash if you lose.
Rousey has stayed out of the spotlight since her first defeat in the UFC and has been issued a six-month fight ban by the UFC medical staff. Based on her performances and based on what I had seen from her, she was just this freak athlete that no one had ever seen before.
Burns Ortiz says the hardest part of the loss was her inability to protect her sister from the anonymous keyboard warriors that were brutally laying into her in the weeks following the fight.
“We can not forget what Ronda did before, for all of us, not just for female fighters, but for all the UFC and MMA all over the world”, Jędrzejczyk said.
You’d be forgiven for thinking that Tate could face Amanda Nunes (#4) in the interim to solidify a title contender, but Tate has repeatedly voiced her displeasure at having to face top quality opponents repeatedly without getting the Rousey fight. She’s got to go to a Firas Zahabi or a Matt Hume, or someone like that, in my opinion. “But also, I remind her often, in front of millions of people who wanted to see her succeed”. Her combinations when she hits the pads are very impressive, but there are other elements that come with striking. You can say she was too “cocky” or she didn’t want it bad enough but Rousey wasn’t ready for Holm. “I have to f-king do it…it doesn’t f-king matter”.
It’s important these amendments are made.

Justino though, attempted to make the move down to 135 but eventually gave up cutting the extra weight following Rousey’s loss to Holm. Most people don’t get to see people get knocked unconscious on a routine basis, really close up, but I’ve seen some of the greatest fighters and some of the greatest fights of all time from just a few feet away. Once these movie commitments are complete, the loss will also prompt Rowdy into refining her focus back towards MMA and reestablishing herself as one of the biggest names in the game.
