The exact identity of the three cinemas to screen the global premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens remains under wraps.

A giant opaque tent shrouded the red carpet – lined with the mannequins and neon lights that resembled giant lightsabers – and workers put the finishing touches on the setup hours before the film’s first showings to a select group of Hollywood elite.

Maybe you’ve heard that there’s another Star Wars film coming out? In 2012, Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace first released in 2D in 1999, was converted to 3D and re-released, but then Disney tabled plans to re-release 3D versions of the other two films in the series.

“Well, in the ’70s nobody knew what to anticipate”, Ford said in an interview with Starwars.com. They are expected to join its younger stars on the red carpet, including Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleason and British actors Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Andy Serkis and Gwendoline Christie. Sure, it might cost a few extra quid, but this is Star Wars and we reckon this one is going to be worth it.

The Force Awakens happens 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi when Han Solo, Leia, and Lando, played by Billy Dee Williams, led the rebels to victory, and Luke Skywalker had a final showdown with his father, Darth Vader. The bride was set to wear a white dress affixed with handmade crystal X-wing fighters, according to the Daily Mail. Please see our terms of service for more information.

“I understand the need for security”, Arnet said.

But for a lifelong “Star Wars” fan, it was tough being that close to the premiere and not getting a better look.

She explained: “I was petrified”.

STAR Wars super-fan Paul Wadley spent thousands of pounds on his C3PO costume – but it will help him get in to see the new film for free.

There are at least six Twitter accounts dedicated to “Star Wars spoilers”, though not all of them may actually be posting every last detail – and none of them now has more than 110 followers.
