Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry has been taken to hospital after becoming ill on stage in NY. Murthy would not elaborate further on the events leading up to Perry’s hospitalization. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope that he comes back to the stage to astonish us with his unbelievable guitar skills.
In footage posted to social media by concertgoers, Perry can be seen sitting down on stage before he eventually stumbled off and collapsed. EMT workers were on-scene and quickly revived the six-stringer before he was taken to a Brooklyn hospital.
Hollywood Vampires are in the midst of a US tour and were scheduled to appear tonight on CBS’ “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”.
A tweet from Perry’s official account said, “Thanks to all of the fans reaching out and asking about Joe”.
Everybody’s heartbeat stopped for a minute when they heard the news of the Joe Perry collapse.
Perry and the band, which also features Matt Sorum of Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver and Robert DeLeo of Stone Temple Pilots, have been on tour in the USA since July 1, playing seven dates over the past nine days. The other members including Alice Cooper and Johnny Depp continued playing.

Police sources told Page Six that Perry was rushed to the hospital after going into cardiac arrest, although the band has yet to confirm the reasons behind his hospitalization.
