Holm surprised to learn of Rousey’s suicidal thoughts following loss
“God never said that, and I really think that our Pope right now is a boss”. “I’ve never felt as comfortable and as settled and as good with my team”. For Rousey, meanwhile, it’s unclear when she’ll be back in the Octagon. She did, however, mention that she expects the matter to be “resolved fairly easily” and she expects the case to be heard some time in the “end of May, maybe early June”.

Rousey, who defeated Tate by submission in both their UFC meetings, does not want anyone else to defeat Holm before she has the chance to avenge her UFC 193 defeat to the “Preacher’s Daughter”. This upset opened up the division, and now Pena sees plenty of options on the horizon – but no clear-cut choice.
UFC 196 will host a co-main event bantamweight title fight between Holly Holm and Miesha Tate at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“I have no idea [who I will face next]”, she said.
Fans can also use the game’s new Live Events mode to add to the excitement of the UFC’s PPV events, which allows you to guess the outcomes every fight on a card.
“I’ve definitely learned a lot along the way and these are things that you can’t learn unless you go through it. There is no way to prepare for the amount of pressure you’re going to feel”.
“These last few weeks, I’ve turned down any and all interviews because I feel like I just want to focus on this fight”, she explained.
“That was one thing that my coach taught me at a very young age because I was a bad loser whenever I’d get beat; you’ve got to be able to get back on the horse”.
“Trust me, the last fight was one of the best moments of my life”, Holm told Yahoo Sports.
“I was literally sitting there and thinking about killing myself and that exact second I’m like, ‘I’m nothing, what do I do anymore?’ and, ‘No one gives a [expletive] about me anymore without this, ‘” she recalled. While she’s best known for her rivalry with Rousey, where she’s twice come up short, she’s also been unstoppable against the rest of the pack. “We’d take that fight if Ronda needs more time to make up her mind”.
“I prefer a title shot”. “This is my opportunity and I don’t want any distractions”. Pena said. “But yeah, I always wanted to fight Ronda too”. “I have my fight”.
